Dr. Fred Cohen is an assistant professor of medicine and neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He is also the founder and Medical Director of Headache Intervention, a specialized headache medicine practice based in New York City. Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in headache medicine at the Jefferson Headache Center. He serves on the Media Committee and First Contact Committee within the American Headache Society, and is the section chair for the Primary Front-Line Headache Care Special Interest Section. Dr. Cohen also serves on the editorial boards for Headache and Current Pain and Headache Reports
